Preface before the White House statement, which is found further below. On a daily basis, MHLivingNews and our MHProNews sister-site receive media releases from a variety of sources that include governmental agencies, politicians, companies, others in media, and nonprofits. Some are quoted and a few are published if deemed relevant. We have published information from across that spectrum of sources.
Right or wrong, President Donald J. Trump is seen as one of the most controversial political figures of our time. The information that follows from the Trump White House press room is deemed factually accurate and the sources of much of the information they provided have been linked up for additional insights for those who read here. Rephrased, if a reader wants to investigate the factual claims made by the press release, it stands up to close scrutiny. That said, the commentary in it is that of the White House.
Regular readers of MHLivingNews know we have featured several Democratic presidential nomination hopefuls, as the examples linked here and here reflect. We have also previously feature President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump in a report linked here, when the couple visited a manufactured home community. We believe in affordable manufactured housing and have long said that people from across the two major parties have had positive and helpful contributions to our industry. See, for example, the helpful and pro-manufactured home research done by a bipartisan panel of Democratic and Republican lawmakers linked here.
Following this White House press release there will be additional information and commentary related other personalities. One lives in a manufactured home community. The other will be a link to a prior article that featured a black minister who lives in a factory-built home who joined with MHLivingNews to share words of peace, healing and prosperity during the post-Charlottesville turmoil. Those will both tie in with what follows from the White House.

Where is the media outrage on these deaths and shootings?
All Americans were rightly sickened by the brutal death of George Floyd in Minneapolis last week, President Trump says. “My administration is fully committed that, for George and his family, justice will be served. He will not have died in vain.”
Four days ago, another African-American man was killed, this time gunned down while standing outside the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in Oakland, California.
Dave Patrick Underwood isn’t a household name. His death didn’t make nearly as many headlines. But his life mattered, too, and his murder should sicken every American.
Underwood was a law enforcement officer in the Federal Protective Service. He and a colleague were standing guard when the gunshots came, killing Underwood and sending his fellow officer to the hospital in critical condition. Oakland’s interim police chief says the shooting was most likely an attack that deliberately targeted uniformed officers.
All across America, violent domestic terrorists have exploited the real hurt and pain felt by thousands of peaceful protesters. The need to save innocent lives and protect our most vulnerable communities from these criminals should be obvious to every peace-loving citizen. Yet media talking heads and opportunistic politicians would rather keep exploiting fear instead of solving the problem and restoring order. That’s unacceptable.
“If a city or a state refuses to take the actions that are necessary to defend the life and property of their residents, then I will deploy the United States military and quickly solve the problem for them,” President Trump said in an address last night.
Ending domestic terrorism shouldn’t be a partisan issue that Democrats leave to Republicans. Neither should loudly supporting the thousands of decent, brave law enforcement officers who put themselves on the line every night to keep us safe.
Violence against police officers is an affront to everything America stands for. Stories about the assaults against them over the past week need to be told, even if corporate media executives decide that it isn’t the “right” narrative to push:
- A Las Vegas officer is on life support after a gunshot to the head.
- Four police officers were shot last night during riots in St. Louis.
- An NYPD officer was struck by a vehicle in an apparent hit-and-run.
- Violent thugs beat a police officer on the streets of New York.
How does any of this help our nation heal from the tragedy in Minnesota?
It doesn’t. No American, from any community, should ever feel unsafe on our streets—and that includes those who risk their lives to protect us. The rule of law applies to everyone, from bad cops who abuse their power to violent rioters who attack the police.
President Trump wants justice for all, with no exceptions. The actions he announced last night will bring order to our streets and get us closer to making sure that happens.
Vox chooses to lie about the President instead of shining a light on violence.

Again, like the president and his policies or not, this communique from the White House raised several critical and interesting issues. He has a daughter who is Jewish and grandchild who are Jewish. On June 1, he walked to St. John’s Church in Washington, D.C. which is Episcopalian. He held up a Bible in front of the church which had been attacked and burned by rioters who were among the protestors. Here is how left-of-center CNBC reported that episode.
The 45th president spent years on television and in business prior to becoming a politician. Again, like his policies or not, President Trump should be given credit for understanding the power of visuals and symbols. He has welcomed people from a wide range of religious, national, ethnic, business, and other diverse groups in meetings in the U.S. and overseas.
That backdrop sets the stage for what follows, which will round out the balance of our headline’s report.
In no specific order of importance are connections with two factory-built home living individuals that are related to various parts of the White House photo of the day and more broadly to the vexing national issues at hand.
MHLivingNews Additional Information, Analysis and Commentary
The Reverend Donald Tye Jr. is a self-proclaimed former Republican turned independent who had words of advice for HUD Secretary Ben Carson and the Trump Administration. That video and report follow some pull quotes from Tye, who is a strong advocate for manufactured homes and affordable home ownership for minorities and all Americans.
Rev. Tye additionally joined with this writer in sharing a joint statement in the racial unrest post-Charlottesville. That is timely reading, see that via the linked image below.
Next, we’ve periodically featured the saga of Millie Francis, who lives in a pre-HUD Code home in a resident owned community in Bradenton, FL. Mrs. Francis is happily Catholic and speaks often to visitors and the media about Mary the mother of Jesus, the rosary, and the story of Our Lady of Fatima. The photo of President Trump and the First Lady in front of the mural at the Joh Paul II memorial is a surprising tie in to the topic of Fatima.
First, note that in the mural that the president and his wife are kneeling in front of there is an image of the famous “Black Madonna.” In many paintings of Mary, she is holding the young baby or boy Jesus. Sometimes, as in this art work, the Madonna is pointing to Jesus as she holds him with her other arm. That is a deeply symbolic set of gestures. Mary in such art is pointing believers to Jesus, not herself. She is holding Jesus, which is what Christians are supposed to be doing too – clinging to Jesus and His teachings. It recalls this Biblical passage where Mary tells the steward at the wedding feast of Cana to “Do whatever He [Jesus] tells you” in John 2:5, per the Catholic Vineyard.
John Paul II was known as a deeply Marian pope who visited Fatima after he recovered from an assassination attempt. More on that later below, but first some insights on Fatima.
Fatima is a place in Portugal which was once influenced by Muslims and Christians alike for many years. The Muslim Prophet Mohamed named his daughter Fatima. Much like Catholic or Orthodox Christians, Muslims in their Quran and in other Muslim writings express belief that Jesus was born to a virgin named Mary. For those who are unaware or need a reminder, while Mary is revered – greatly respected – by Catholics, Orthodox, Anglicans and other Christians, she is not seen as divine. Mary is the human mother of Jesus, where she holds an important role in salvation history. Mary ‘brings’ Jesus to believers.
From Genesis 3:15 someone can read, “And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel,” says Bible Hub. Rephrased, billions through the centuries see Mary as “the woman” of both Genesis 3:15 and Revelation 12:1, which reads: “A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head,” per Bible Gateway.
In keeping with the biblical commandment – honor your father and mother – Mary is highly honored as the mother of Jesus, who Christians believe is the long-awaited Messiah. Mary, the Madonna, is explicitly mentioned or alluded to, according to centuries of Christian belief, several times in Sacred Scripture. Prayers to Mary are to be properly be understood as asking for her help as the Mother of Jesus for her prayers. It is similar as believers ask other people to pray for them. Rephrased, Mary doesn’t grant a prayer request, it is God who does that in response to Mary’s prayer joined with that of other believers.
Put differently, Mary is invoked in an intercessory role as a prayer partner, or as the Open Bible says it: “…pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working,” James 5:16. Over time, literally billions of souls have thought of Mary as a human prayer partner that has a special “in” with Jesus, her son. In this ancient view from Christian theology, Mary is thought of as being saved from sin in anticipation of her being the Son of God’s divine mother, so that Jesus would be born of a spotless vessel.
The vast majority of all Christians prior to the Protestant reformation held that view of Mary, as Martin Luther’s catechism makes clear.
The majority of Christians also believed that Mary fulfilled the prophecy of Isiah 7:14: “Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold, the young woman who is unmarried and a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel [God with us],” the reference per the Bible Gateway.
Mary is thus a unique maternal figure in the lives of Catholics, other Christians, and Muslims too. Mary was obviously Jewish in her upbringing. In a unique fashion, the Madonna is at least potentially a unifying figure, even though Mary happens to be a controversial topic too.
All of these things were well known to the late Pope John Paul II, who has been declared a saint by the Catholic Church. Pope John Paul II was born Karol Józef Wojtyla. He became a Polish priest who grew up during the Nazi and then the Communist occupation of Poland. Like tens of millions who lived the horrors of World War II, the reign of Nazis, and then Communism, Wojtyla understood the terrors of both war and of living in a dictatorial police state.
The term Nazi is a contraction of the words National Socialists. The German Nazis under the leadership of Adolf Hitler and propagandists such as Joseph Goebbels were rivals of international socialists based in the former Soviet Union, also known as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). But Nazis, socialists and communists are in several ways connected.
All that is background to the story of Fatima in 1917. The events in that once back road place drew Pope John Paul II to visit the shrine of our Lady of Fatima after an assassination attempt on his life by a radical named Mehmet Ali Agca. Agca was reportedly recruited by communist authorities to kill Pope John Paul II, because they felt he was a threat to their socialist-communist dreams.
There are numerous books, articles, websites, videos and movies about Fatima. As with much that occurs online, some of it is reliable, others not so much.
In brief, while World War I was still being fought in 1917. That same year many believe that the “Spanish flu” pandemic began – 1917. In that nexus of history, a ‘visitation’ or manifestation of what Catholics call “an apparition” of the Virgin Mary reportedly occurred to three young children in Fatima. A reported miracle occurred there that was reported world-wide at the time. That miracle was witnessed by an estimated 70,000 to 100,000 people who were told in advance to expect a miraculous event. Among those present were skeptical atheists, agnostics, newspaper reporters and other doubters. The video below includes numerous still photos from the time before, during and after the miracle of the sun, and more insights into John Paul II and Fatima. It is among the better known miracles in the post-Biblical era.
Part of the message of Fatima was that if the world didn’t turn back to God then a more terrible war would occur. That in fact took place during World War II. Another part of the message of Fatima is that sufficient and appropriate prayer could convert Russia, but if that didn’t occur, then Russia would spread its errors around the world. There was also a reported prophetic warning in the so-called ‘third secret of Fatima’ that the late Saint John Paul II felt was a reference to the attempted assignation on his life.
What was that ‘error of Russia?’
There are those who assert it is the errors of socialism and communism. How important was the warning? The stark and sobering facts should speak volumes.
Said differently, Fatima is a pro-God, pro-prayer and anti-socialist or anti-communist message. It was underscored by reports from secular news reporters across the globe, because the run up to the “miracle of the sun” at Fatima had been reported around the earth.
The YouTube page of the EWTN video about Fatima above says the following.
“On May 13th 1917, in the fields of Cova de Iria three children, Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco, were tending their flock of sheep when they witnessed the supernatural apparition of a Beautiful Young Lady. The children described the young lady as brighter than the sun, dressed in a white mantle edged with gold and holding a rosary in her hand. She asked the children to devote themselves to the Holy Trinity and to pray the Rosary every day, in order to bring peace to the world. The little shepherds understood that this woman was the Virgin Mary. She asked them to come to the same place on every 13th day of each month, which they did, thus totaling the number of apparitions to six between the months of May and October of the year 1917. The Virgin Mary also entrusted 3 secrets to the children.”
Did President Trump know these things when he visited the National Shrine of Saint John Paul II?
It is certainly possible that First Lady Melania Trump did, because she is reportedly Catholic. The president has said that he was raised Presbyterian. But the president has several advisers, who include Catholics.
What makes this interesting, beyond the ties to the message of Millie Francis who is fervant on these topics is that symbolically, it seems quite appropriate during the unrest in America and all that is happening globally.
China is a communist nation, and as our report linked here and below details. There is ample evidence that Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leaders made the decision to not warn the world in a timely fashion about the threat of COVID19, which the anti-communist Epoch Times calls the CCP Virus, but which various members of the Trump Administration have referred to as the Wuhan Virus or China Virus.
Warnings from various law enforcement officials in various cities as well as from the federal government that Antifa and other pro-socialist and anarchist groups are behind the violence, rioting and looting that has hijacked peaceful protests about the death of George Floyd. Those leftist activists and Antifa-like “thugs” as President Trump called them are using the protests as cover for their own purposes. Thus, the symbolism of President’s walk to St. John’s Church shown above, and the prayer at the National Shrine for St. John Paul II are quite remarkable. It is a ‘taking back’ of the streets from the violent for decent people who can protest peacefully, or do any other lawful behavior for that matter.
The president knows he is controversial. But controversy can be used to focus attention to issues that demand it. More on these and other topics in the days ahead.
As a closing note, President Trump Secretary for Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has been an outspoken advocate for manufactured modern housing. Carson is deeply religious himself.
