‘Tis the Season!’ Manufactured Housing Association Delivers Christmas for Communities

In addition to providing quality, appealing and affordable options for U.S. home seekers, stories like this one prove that the manufactured housing industry’s professionals also have heart.

In Delaware, members of the First State Manufactured Housing Association donated generously to help make the 2016 holiday season more joyful for others.

According to the Cape Gazette, over $3,000 worth of nonperishable items were delivered to food banks around Kent and Sussex counties.

The generosity of the First State Manufactured Housing Association and its members made such a significant impact on the amount of nonperishable food that was donated to three local pantries through the Capital Holiday Celebration,” said Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce Director of Special Events and Executive Assistant Cristal Brenneman.

The food drive is a wonderful opportunity to help make the holiday season a little brighter for many families in Kent County. We are very thankful for the support of community members like them.“

It’s become our tradition to participate in the food drives to benefit the communities we serve, and we are very thankful to our members who donate so generously to those less fortunate during the holiday season,” said Jen Allen, First State Manufactured Housing Association executive director.

Now is the perfect time for giving; the food drives will help stock the shelves of local food banks and provide support for many families in need.

After more than three decades of bringing the community together to help those in need, Caroling on The Circle continues to be a success, in part because of organizations like First State Manufactured Housing Association,” said Sussex County Administrator Todd F. Lawson. “We thank all our partners for their continued generosity and support of this program.“ ##
