It’s a Wonderful Life, #Christmas #WonderfulLife #DisneySprings, #DisneyChristmasCelebration #Videos #Photos

People are people.

Rich, or poor. Small or tall.  Every able bodied person pretty much put our pants on the same way as others do.

Christmas and the holidays are “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” as Andy Williams sang, decades ago in this video snippet from a performance.

It’s true.

It’s a Wonderful Life,” as this free full-length version of the 1946 classic Christmas movie reminds us all.

Do you remember the cast?

James Stewart, as George Bailey who joins into the family business of helping people in Bedford Falls get an affordable home.
Donna Reed, as Mary Hatch (to become Mrs. Bailey).
Lionel Barrymore, as the slumlord, Henry Potter.
Thomas Mitchell, as George’s Uncle Billy, who’s forgetfulness sparks a crisis at Christmas.
Henry Travers as the cute angel without his wings, Clarence Oddbody. Clarence, was the angel sent from Heaven to help a desperate George Bailey realize what life would have been like if he had never existed.
Beulah Bondi as the mother of George and his brother Harry Bailey.

The photos and full cast list above are from IMBD, which has facts about the Liberty Mills production company movie.

This free (for as long as it lasts) of the classic black and white version of the movie, is a grand Christmas story for everyone. It’s more than just the meaning of Christmas.  The beautiful, funny, story reminds viewers that God created us for a good purpose.

Still is Color, But the Movie is Classic Black and White!

It reminds us that every one of us can make a huge difference in the lives of others.

It also reminds us of the value of owning a home, instead of renting one.  Or that “Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home.”

Christmas with the Kovach’s at Disney Springs, Orlando, FL

We did the usual things that families do at Christmas.

ChurchOfTheRessurectionChristmas2017LATonyKovachTamasKovachNativitySet
Not one of the quick reading this is perfect, nor is this writer. We all need redemption. Jesus is the reason for the season.  Nativity of Jesus Christ, Mary, Joseph, scene at the Church of the Resurrection in Lakeland, FL, with L. A. “Tony” Kovach, and son Tamas Kovach (Pronounced “Tah Mash” Co Vatch – like a watch with a v)), with Soheyla Kovach behind the camera.

Then in the afternoon, we hoped in the car, and went off to #DisneySprings, which was packed with people that had the same idea as we did.

Disney does a terrific job there of creating an upbeat atmosphere.

Disney is mindful of security, which is one more factor that makes this a pleasant place for millions to come to every year.  The gent at the right didn’t tell us what position, but can you tell he played football? 🙂

You meet people from all over the world, and from all walks of life.

Their Christmas tree lane had periodic burst of artificial snow blowing.

Our son Tamas (pronounced “Tah Mash” Magyar for Thomas) and I rode a classic carousel that – as he spun his dad around-and-around – had him laughing for joy, as dad focused on avoiding getting dizzy.

We stopped at so many places, like Ghirardelli for some fabulous mint chocolate chip ice cream and refreshing raspberry sorbet.

Or at the Lego store, where we snapped this photo of our son. We finished at IHOP, just a few minutes away.

The True Meaning of Christmas

Linus shares the true meaning of Christmas from this video based upon the narrative from Luke 2: 8-14.

The Christ Child has no place to call home.  It was the shepherds – then the lowest rung on the social ladder – that the angels came to announce the miraculous birth.

This Jesus was a most unique king, born in a stable, not a palace. He’d grow up to be a tekton, a craftsman who would build with stone and wood.

Christmastime is so special, it has “twelve days.”

Life is so wonderful, it ought to be lived in a way that creates less stress for an individual, couple, family or household.

This Little Drummer Boy music video with the Pentaonix is a nice bookend to the movie Jimmy Stewart movie above.  Our gift to God and humanity is sharing our talents, and skills in the best, most honest – and honorable – fashion we can manage.  Then, we go back, and do it even better.

Family, Friends, True Stories

Our son Tamas’ first home was a manufactured home. My wife Soheyla and I’ve live in nice conventional houses, and in several manufactured homes too.

Elvis & Priscilla Presley Honeymooned in this Mobile Home

I’ve owned several manufactured homes over the years.  This writer took on an assignment many years ago that provide an early 1970s model mobile home, so I know the value and differences of that and a manufactured home first hand too. I guess we’ve lived in most of the kinds of conventional housing.

So, we can tell you first hand that you cook, clean, eat, live, and love the same in a manufactured home as you do in any other kind of home.

You celebrate the holidays, birthdays, and other life-events the same in this amazing form of factory crafted homes as others too.

Successful Professional Couple Spotlights Modern Manufactured Home Living Realities

Perhaps no one has interviewed more people, produced more interviews, and done more true stories about manufactured homes and those that have discovered this ‘wonderful life than we have.

A home is the landing pad at the end of the day.  It’s the launching pad for work or play, for school, worship. It’s where family and friends gather around the table, listen to music, or watch a show.

What we discovered personally and through our stories with others is that you can have more, and do more, all with less stress, when your home costs you less.

Time Travelers, and the Future of American Homes

As 2017 Winds Down, Thank You…

We want to thank those that have taken the time this year and in previous years to share their unpaid and unscripted stories. From university professors, to the retired, students, to workers, families, and executives, we’ve covered the gamut.

We want to thank those who’ve supported this educational – and hopefully entertaining – effort, which is so very much needed by millions seeking an affordable home in America today. One out of 12 Americans already know what this site is talking about.

If you or someone you know lives in a mobile or manufactured home, you’ve found the place that celebrates this wonderful way of living.

Surprised by the Truth, While Shopping for a New Home

If you happen to be shopping for a new place to live, why not spend some time during the 12 days of Christmas considering an option that has transformed millions of lives.

Merry Christmas to all! ##
