Mayor Cecilia McCollough said, “They have quite a few sites and a very nice facility. They had ground breaking over the summer and look close to being done now.”
Rancho El Mirage’s 12,000 square foot rec center features a modern state-of-the-art kitchen for private and community gatherings. Recreational facilities in this gated community include a pool and spa, two AMF bowling lanes, fishing, bocce and pickle ball, shuffleboard, billiards, tennis, arts and crafts, a library and TV lounge and a fitness center. Community residents will receive special member discounts at the golf course.
Other home site options include attached carports for RV storage as well as attached garages and sheds, and choice of front or back decks for spectacular views of the mountains or golf course. Home site sizes range from 55′ X 62′ to 60′ X 110′ to accommodate multi-sectional homes. Rancho is partnering with Cavco Industries, Inc. for the homes. They will take trade-ins of manufactured homes and recreational vehicles.
Located 200 miles from San Diego, 150 miles from Phoenix and just east of Yuma, Rancho El Mirage is close to professional services including the Yuma Regional Medical Facility, and to extensive shopping and restaurant opportunities that active adults seeking a 55+ manufactured home community in the south are seeking. ##
